Dates Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates pitted dates or dates paste
  • 1 cup milk powder Roasted – in a fry pan; until golden
  • 1/2 cup white flour
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add ingredients all together in a mixer and mix very well.
  • Spread oil lightly to a baking tray and add the mix – to prevent the cake from sticking on the tray.
  • Bake in oven 180° until the cake gets puffy and dry from inside

Tip: After mixing, let the batter rest for 5 minutes. This allows the flour to hydrate and the dates to meld into the mixture, giving you a smoother, more even crumb once baked.
