Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  • Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the prepared cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
