In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
